Al-maktoum Secondary School (AMSEC) is a co-education school where boys and girls are given equal opportunity. AMSEC is registered by Ministry of Education and Vocational Training with registration number S.5223 and is recognize by National Examinations Council OF Tanzania (NECTA) by central number S.5818

AL-maktoum Secondary School (AMSEC) is the boarding school, and is situated in Pwani - Yombo, Bagamoyo. It takes 18 km long from Bagamoyo center and 50 km from Dar es salaam city

Al- Maktoum Secondary School (AMSEC) is owned by The Registered Trustees of Al-Maktoum Foundation of Tanzania. Who also owns Al-maktoum Secondary in Zanzibar and Al- Maktoum College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET).
